How to Use an Ink Converter

Please remove ink cartridge from inside of the pen as they come shipped with 1 ink cartridge. Put ink converter in place of where you would put the cartridge and they kind of snap in place.

Dip the entire nib section in a bottle of Private Reserve ink. You may need to pull or twist the lever (2 kinds of converter) a few times especially for a new pen that has never been inked for the first time. It's also an excellent idea to empty and refill a couple of times to get your new pen working in top order for better ink flow.

Converters also play a very important role in cleaning your pens. Take Soapy water like a mild dish soap Luke warm water (Not HOT will damage) and use your converter to draw in and out the soapy water. This will flush out and clean the internal working of your pens. You can also soak your nib section for a short time in soapy water to clean and run under Luke warm water in a sink.
